Our 2025 Tree Service Projects: Real Jobs, Real Results

At this time of year, many homeowners start thinking about their yards and outdoor spaces again. While winter is quieter for landscaping, it’s actually one of the best times to take care of important tree work, and it gives us a chance to reflect on some of the projects we were proud to complete throughout 2025.

From tree removals and trimming to property safety improvements, we had the opportunity to help many homeowners across the area keep their properties safe, beautiful, and well maintained.

Projects We Completed in 2025

Last year was busy, and every property had its own unique challenges. Here are a few examples of projects we were proud to complete for local homeowners.

Backyard Tree Removal Using Bucket Truck

This project took place in Brighton, MI, where the homeowner had a collection of approximately seven trees in the backyard that needed to be removed safely. Because of the location and surrounding structures, our crew used a bucket truck to carefully dismantle each tree section by section.

Tree Removal Near Riverbank With Challenging Access

In Lincoln Park, MI, we removed several backyard trees, including one large elm leaning toward the river. The job required extra precautions, and part of the cleanup involved using protective waders to retrieve branches from shallow water. Most of the material was safely directed back into the yard during removal, minimizing impact to the riverbank.

Large Dead Oak Removed Near Power Lines With Crane

This Ferndale, MI project involved a large dead oak tree located near active power lines, making it a complex and high-risk removal. To ensure maximum safety and efficiency, we used a crane to lift sections of the tree out of the confined space.

Specialized equipment and careful planning allowed us to remove the tree without disturbing nearby utilities or structures.

Massive Dead Tree Removal From Backyard

In Grosse Ile Township, MI, we removed a massive dead cottonwood tree from a residential backyard that posed a serious safety risk. Our team safely felled the tree and completed a full cleanup, restoring the yard and eliminating the hazard.

What Our Customers Said

“Steve & his team are honest, quick to respond, & do great work. They also care about wildlife, which is big plus for any nature-lover. They take care to check for any animals that may be displaced by a tree removal & have contacts to get them help. 🐿🐦🦝🦉”

Cheyla Wagner

“Hired these guys to take down two trees that were growing at a precarious angle over our garage. Not an easy job but they were confident they could get it done – and get it done they did! Definitely would use them again.”

Kirsten Hardy

“Took down a few oak trees at my house for me in the past and has also done some other jobs as well for friends of mine who were all highly satisfied. Highly recommend his services from start to finish he always communicates well!”

Why Winter Is Still a Great Time for Tree Work

Many homeowners are surprised to learn that winter is actually one of the best seasons for tree trimming and removal. With trees dormant and leaves gone, it’s easier to see structure and potential hazards. Frozen ground also helps minimize lawn damage during equipment use.

Scheduling work now also means better availability before the busy spring season begins.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re excited to continue helping homeowners maintain safe and healthy trees this year. Whether it’s preventative trimming, removing a problem tree, or simply getting professional advice, we’re always happy to help.
